“Singing Star of Holy Hearts” Competition Organized at Holy Hearts Civil Lines
Raipur, July 25, 2026: With the aim of providing a platform to showcase and nurture the musical talents of students, an inter-school-level “Singing Star of Holy Hearts” competition was organized at Holy Hearts Civil Lines School.
The competition was conducted in Junior and Senior categories, with 35 students from Classes 6 to 11 participating enthusiastically. The participants captivated the audience with melodious performances based on devotional songs dedicated to Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman, as well as patriotic themes. A special song dedicated to the glorious 38-year journey and achievements of the school was also presented, which touched the hearts of everyone present.The participants were judged on the basis of vocal performance, sur and taal (melody and rhythm), expression, pronunciation, and stage presentation. The winners were selected based on their outstanding performances.
The results of the competition were as follows:
Junior Category:
- First Position: Khushi Wadher of Class 8A, for her soulful rendition of “Thumak Chalat Ramchandra.”
- Second Position: Atharv Mishra of Class 6B, for his performance of “Ram Aayenge.”
- Third Position: Drishti Jain of Class 6B, for her melodious presentation of “Achyutam Keshavam.”
Senior Category:
- First Position: Alopa Sukhdeve of Class 11E, for her captivating performance of “Satyam Shivam Sundaram.”
- Second Position: Tejaswi Nirmalkar of Class 11C, for his rendition of “Albela Sajan Aayo Re.”
- Third Position: Aarohi Mishra of Class 9C, for her patriotic performance of “Jai Jan Bharat.”
On the occasion, the school’s Chairman, Acharya Surendra Pratap Singh, addressed the students and highlighted the importance of music in life. He encouraged the students to continuously develop and refine their talents with dedication and perseverance.At the conclusion of the event, Chairman Acharya Surendra Pratap Singh, Principal Mrs. Neepa Chauhan, Headmistress Ms. Shalini Agrawal, and Vice Principal Mr. Kamal Kishore Agrawal felicitated the winning participants by presenting them with certificates and momentos.The event concluded successfully with appreciation for the enthusiasm, dedication, and outstanding performances of all the participants.
