Holy Hearts School, Civil Lines Students Shine at Young Indians Parliament – Raipur Chapter

Students of Holy Hearts School, Civil Lines enthusiastically participated in the Young Indians Parliament – Raipur Chapter, a two-day educational programme organized at the Old Vidhan Sabha, Raipur. The event offered students a unique opportunity to experience the functioning of the legislative system and strengthen their analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
The delegates actively engaged in parliamentary debates, discussions, and legislative proceedings, gaining valuable insights into the democratic process. During the second day's session, the students had the privilege of interacting with Dr. Raman Singh, Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. The programme was further enriched by inspiring addresses from Mayor Meenal Choubey and Mr. Rajesh Singh Thakur, BJP President, Raipur District.
The school's Principal and teacher coordinator were invited to attend the felicitation ceremony, where they witnessed the Question Hour, cross-questioning by the Opposition, the bill-passing procedure, and thought-provoking debates presented by the student delegates. They were also felicitated by the Mayor for the school's active participation in the programme.
Bringing laurels to the school, Raj Rajeshwar Parmar (Class XI-B) and Sakina Malak (Class XII-A) earned selection for the Regional Round of the Young Indians Parliament. Their outstanding performance reflects their dedication, confidence, and understanding of democratic values.
